Salute to the King of Cricket - One more history created

Today history has been created in the game of Cricket. God of Cricket, master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has become the first man to reach the magical figure of 200 in limited over cricket (One Day International), surely the best man to reach the best figure.
200 in limited over cricket - it has been every batsman's dream to achieve this target for the last 39 years of the history of this game. Finally it has come from the superman of cricket, man of records and nightmare of every bowler, Sachin Tendulkar.
What a player he is, he has been contributing his best to the world of cricket for the last 20 years.
We didn't witness Sir Don Bradman's batting, but we have been witnessing Sachin Tendulkar's magic since he was only 16. And we are sure we will witness many more from the greatest of greats till he continues to play.
Sachin dedicated this double hundred to the people of his country, who have been standing behind him for the last 20 years.

One more thriller, another big day

Another nail biting encounter between India and Sri Lanka. This time the rain of runs was in Nagpur. Sri Lanka didn't do any mistake this time, they hold their nerves and reached the target of 302 runs with 5 balls to spare. Finally we saw a big smile on Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara's face courtesy another fine fine innings by Tillakaratne Dilshan. Mr. Super Cool, Mahendra Singh Dhoni's luck didn't work this time for the team, but it worked for his personal innings, he made a brilliant century. Don't worry, better luck next time No matter who wins, in a nutshell we can say that it was a win of 50-50 over 20-20 again. That's it from me, come back again after the next match on 21st of December.

Another Big Day of Cricket

Wow...what a day of cricket yesterday was. Rain of runs from both the sides. 825 runs scored in just 100 overs, with 80 fours and 24 sixes. Just look at the figure of fours and sixes...oh my God, it reminds me the match at Wanderers, between Australia and South Africa. But here unfortunately for Sangakara's brave side, Dhoni's luck had come into play once again to edge past Lankans. Indian bowlers and fielders held their nerves during the final two overs and pulled off a three-run victory for them.
I am one of the unfortunate cricket lovers who missed to witness that historical encounter...anyways finally in a nutshell, we can claim that 50-50 is still alive amongst the new generation's favourite 20-20
