Hidden features in ur mobile

Do you know about the following features of your mobile handset?
1) Imagine your mobile battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370# Your mobile will
restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your mobile next time.

2)Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to
own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their mobile phone from your cell phone.
Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone at their end. Your car will unlock. Saves
someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other 'remote' for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

  1. Really useful. I've tried both of them and the result is positive.

  2. I am thinking how can you lock your car keys in your car, when you have remote keyless entry. If you left the key inside, and it is outside the range of the lock, the door won't lock. Again, if you left the key inside and it is within the range of the lock, you can lock it, and also unlock it (from outside), since the key is within range of the lock. So I think you won't be able to lock your car keys inside the car, if you have remote keyless entry. Also, the boot won't lock, if you leave your key in the boot. At least that happens for my car. So my guess is that, this thing works, just because you haven't really locked yourself in.

  3. I tried opening the car, and can confirm that it works. Also, on second thought, my comments about not locking yourself out is applicable for remote keys which uses a proximity sensor and for cars, where you push a button on the doors to unlock. For those types of keys, you can't lock yourself out of your car.

  4. I have to retract my previous comment. My previous test was flawed. The car opening with mobile phone doesn't work. It is a hoax. Most probably, people are not doing it properly, i.e. they are within the range of their remote, which is opening the car, not that the cell phone is carrying the signal.
